We have several types of group therapy available depending on your goals and clinical recommendations.

 
 

Substance use Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Research shows that an Intensive Outpatient program is effective for those with moderate to severe substance use disorders. Our program covers various topics and provides education, structure, and tools for relapse prevention and recovery in a supportive group setting and utilizes evidence-based curriculum that includes DBT, CBT, and Relapse Prevention.

 

Mental Health Intensive OutpATIENT

This group is a safe and compassionate space where you can learn foundational skills to support personal growth and healing. The topics for the group rotate each week and will offer specific and actionable skills to implement in your everyday life to help with managing emotions, coping with anxiety and depression, and cultivating healthy thinking patterns.

Outpatient Groups

Nua offers a full continuum of care and offers Outpatient and Relapse Awareness Groups for those who have previously completed an IOP program either at Nua or an outside facility.

 

Family Counseling

Family sessions are used improve communication and strengthen relationships within the family unit. Through open dialogue and guided discussions, family members explore issues, identify patterns of interaction, and work together to develop healthier dynamics.
